Why Abbey Repointing

Honest work on every job

We treat brick replacement as part of the wall system, not just a cosmetic patch. If the brick has blown because of moisture, failed pointing, bad mortar or corroded wall ties, we will point that out and advise properly. The aim is a clean repair that makes sense for the building.

Common questions

Quick answers — or just WhatsApp us and ask.

Can you match my existing bricks?

We source the closest possible reclaimed or matching brick where it is available, and bed and point it to match the surrounding joints so the repair blends in as much as possible.

Why do bricks blow or crack in the first place?

Often it is trapped moisture, frost, hard cement pointing on soft brick, or corroded wall ties. We look at the cause so the same problem is less likely to come back.

Not sure what your wall needs?
